Why Be
Why Be (he/him) is a Korean-born, Danish-raised, and Berlin/Copenhagen-based producer and DJ. After intentionally spending years on the fringes of experimental dance music, 2015 saw Lee embracing the conventional release format for the very first time, accordingly establishing himself as a formidable emergent voice in dance music’s larger conversation. In June 2018 he and Janus’ Dan DeNorch founded the label Yegorka that has released 20 projects so far, including Caged Animal (released December 2020), Why Be’s second official solo release with features from Patrick Belaga, and Iceage’s Elias Rønnenfelt.

Wanton Witch
Wanton Witch (she/her) was born in a community of Borneo Island and is a DJ and producer with a hyper-sensitive connection and approach to sound through performance. With an early taste for trap & hip hop, she began working in the deconstructed club and techno scene where she found her musical voice. Wanton is also a cofounder and original member of the collective ‘Non Non Non’ that has become a Bangkok nightlife staple. At its core, Wanton’s modus operandi is to allow for an understanding of the trans experience by way of empathy. Her self-titled album was featured as one of the Best albums of 2021 by Resident advisor, Mixmag Japan and many more. Shortly after, label head Lucy released a full length album named ‘Lucy Plays Wanton Witch’ featuring re-interpretations of the original material in a whole new body of work.
